STRINGFIELD PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIOS

                                Gregory Stringfield - Photographer
Photographer's Statement:

I first became interested in photography at the age of sixteen
when my mother purchased a 35mm camera to photograph her
paintings.

I immersed myself in photography and taught myself  how to use
the camera including technique, composition, etc. Shortly
thereafter I taught myself film processing and printing in the
darkroom. My first body of work at age 16 was a Photo Essay on
Chicago’s “Skid Row” called “Madison Street”  and was  self-
assigned. This body of work earned for me a BFA Scholarship to
the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Today I photograph with 35mm, 2 ¼ X 2 ¼  and Digital formats.

My subject matter varies and includes Abstracts, Essays,
Commercial , Landscapes, and  People but , I am open to any
subject matter. Photography has always been my passion . I
always strive to discover new things and express myself through
my photography.
